There is collective angst from leaders as the Brexit negotiations lurch from one round of negotiations to the next, bringing continued uncertainty. For some, the accompanying sigh may be more or less audible, nevertheless now more than ever, leaders must stand up and lead!

The reality is that people tend to follow leaders who are true to what they believe in and unwavering in what they stand for. Yet, many leaders are not clear in what they believe in or what they stand for - their purpose, values, beliefs and vision as a leader of others. This represents a serious gap as most organisations focus on developing the skills of their leaders, rather than building leadership character.
